Spend yesterday evening and night drawing more stones. I think the shading(shadows) is something I am getting more experienced with. Stil there is a long way to go as I stil do not understand how to apply correct lighting.

Stone creatures pixelart 16x16px db32

I am planning to do up to 50 stone creatures to learn how to do those. I am having difficulties with metal and crystal ones. I am using a reference image as an example. Those are however larger and thus have more pixels, making them smaller is a challenge also.

Another practise session result from a day or two of drawing. I used reference images from the internet. 1 from Dan Malone from his Bitmap Brothers period.

I stil am learning how to draw and I can either create really bad newb things or sometimes something that actually looks good! Tip from me is to draw with examples nearby.
